DTG has joined the Centre for Process Analytics and Control Technology (CPACT), strengthening its commitment to advancing digital innovation, process analytics and intelligent manufacturing across the pharmaceutical and wider process industries.
The membership brings together DTG’s expertise in digital transformation, data integration and manufacturing operations with CPACT’s established international network of industrial organisations, technology providers and academic researchers working to advance process analytics and control technologies.
As manufacturers increasingly adopt artificial intelligence (AI), advanced analytics and digital technologies, there is growing recognition of the need to connect technological innovation with practical industrial applications. DTG and CPACT share an ambition to support this transition, helping manufacturers make better use of process data, improve operational performance and accelerate the adoption of intelligent manufacturing technologies.
Bringing Complementary Expertise Together
CPACT has a long-established reputation for advancing Process Analytical Technology (PAT), process modelling and control through collaborative research, technology transfer and knowledge exchange. DTG brings complementary experience in digital manufacturing, data strategy and the implementation of digital technologies within complex, highly regulated pharmaceutical and life sciences environments.
Through its membership, DTG aims to contribute practical industry insights, engage with leading researchers and technology specialists, and explore opportunities for collaboration in areas including advanced analytics, AI, digital twins and connected manufacturing systems.
The relationship will be led by Alison Engles, Digital and Data Programme Manager at DTG, who will coordinate engagement with CPACT and support opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange. She said:
“Joining CPACT is an exciting opportunity to work alongside organisations that share our ambition to advance manufacturing through innovation and technology. There is a natural alignment between CPACT’s expertise in process analytics and control and DTG’s experience in helping manufacturers turn data and digital capabilities into operational improvements. We look forward to sharing our experience, learning from the wider CPACT community and exploring how we can collectively accelerate the adoption of technologies that make manufacturing more intelligent, efficient and resilient.”
Supporting the Future of Intelligent Manufacturing
DTG’s membership creates opportunities to strengthen collaboration between process technology specialists and digital transformation practitioners, helping to address common industry challenges around technology adoption, data integration and manufacturing efficiency.
By contributing to CPACT’s collaborative community, DTG looks forward to sharing knowledge, developing new relationships and supporting progress towards more connected, efficient and sustainable manufacturing.
