DTG Leadership Team
Clive Badman
Chairman
Professor Badman has over 40 years of experience in the development of formulation and drug substance manufacturing at VP level. Clive served as Industrial Chair for Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation (CMAC), and has led a programme to create a Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC). In addition to his Executive Director role at The University of Strathclyde, he is also the chairman of the DTG Board.
Ian Allan
Managing Director
Ian has over 35 years experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biologics and Vaccine manufacturing, specialising in Digital Strategy development and implementation. Ian is currently the Managing Director of DTG and has previously served as the Global Head of Automation for GSK before moving to Novartis to lead their Global Automation team.
Ian Campbell
Operations Director
Ian has over 30 years experience working for a world leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, responsible for automation maintenance future strategies by exploring latest technologies in predictive digital monitoring techniques.
Dave Tudor
Director
Dave has extensive international experience in Pharmaceutical manufacture and supply chain strategy. He spent 20+ years at GSK working in various leadership roles including Head of API Manufacturing & Supply and Head of Manufacturing Strategy, before joining CPI as their Managing Director of the Medicines Manufacture Innovation Centre. Dave also serves as a Director on the Board of DTG.
David Armour
Finance Director
David Armour is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ commercial experience working with a broad range of industrial sectors in many roles including owner, investor, CFO and non-executive director. He works with a portfolio of owner-managed companies within sectors as diverse as scotch whisky distilling, digital strategy consulting, data centre management, precision engineering, investment casting and 3 university spin-outs.
Steven Kenny
Chief Technology Officer
Steven has over 30 years experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biologics and Consumer Healthcare manufacturing, specialising in project delivery and technology development. Steven has recently joined DTG as Chief Technology Officer, leaving his previous role as Head of GSK manufacturing execution systems.
