Digital Technologies Group today announces the acquisition of Good Digital Practice, a specialist data consultancy based in Edinburgh. The acquisition forms part of Digital Technologies Group’s continued growth strategy and strengthens its data and analytics capability for clients in the UK and internationally.
Good Digital Practice was founded by Rob Innes and is recognised for solving complex challenges within digitalisation programmes. The business is known for its structured approach to data excellence across six core areas: data acquisition, data management, data analytics, usability of data, human factors, and data integrity.
Following the acquisition, Good Digital Practice will be fully absorbed into Digital Technologies Group. Rob Innes will join the Group as Director of Data Analytics, leading the expansion of data-led services and supporting clients to unlock greater value from their digital investments.
Dave Tudor, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Technologies Group, said:
“I am delighted that GDP have become part of the DTG Journey. Rob and his team have built an outstanding reputation for delivering practical data solutions that make a real difference. We share the same values and the same focus on outcomes for clients. Bringing Good Digital Practice into Digital Technologies Group strengthens our data analytics offer and accelerates our ability to support complex digital programmes.”
Rob Innes, Chief Executive Officer of Good Digital Practice, said:
“Good Digital Practice was built on a simple idea: data should work for people, not against them. Joining Digital Technologies Group allows us to take that idea further and faster. I am proud of what we have achieved and excited to continue the journey as part of a larger team with the same commitment to quality and impact.”
Digital Technologies Group is headquartered in Irvine, Scotland, and has been investing in new talent, international expansion, and capability growth to meet increasing client demand. The acquisition of Good Digital Practice marks another step in that journey and reinforces the Group’s commitment to delivering robust, human-centred digital solutions.
